were designed for Naval application.

This has determined their design:
two-spooled gas generator and free power turbine.

Each type of engines has several modifications for power turbines,
adapted to power consumers,
differing in the direction of rotation and rotational speed.

UGT 2500 and UGT 110000 gas turbine engines
were specially designed for power generation purpose
and have single-shaft configuration.
